We're excited to announce details for the 2nd Annual 48 Hour Furniture Flip! The weekend of September 13th, eight teams will work around the clock from Friday evening to Sunday evening to "flip" an item into something beautiful!
The goals of the event are to:
Here's how it works:
Friday, September 13th - teams are assigned their piece and the work begins!
Saturday, September 14th - follow teams' progress as they flip their pieces
Sunday, September 15th - all work must be complete by 6PM
Wednesday, September 18th - Thursday, September 19th - FINISHED pieces are revealed and YOU get to vote for your favorite HERE!
The goals of the event are to:
- Generate awareness around buying repurposed / second hand / painted furniture
- Highlight Alaska-based artists who are amazingly talented
- Create a fun, competitive atmosphere to build camaraderie and community among furniture painting entrepreneurs and crafters
Here's how it works:
- Each team will be randomly assigned a piece of furniture or item that has been donated to Anchorage re:MADE and is in desperate need of a makeover. They will have 48 hours to transform this item into something that is functional, beautiful and one of a kind!
- We will host an online vote for your favorite! Mark your calendar HERE!
