Position Overview
As an Anchorage re:MADE Board Member, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission: creating positive community change through small business start-ups, environmental sustainability, repurposing resources, and meeting community needs. Your expertise, network, and enthusiasm will directly contribute to the growth and sustainability of re:MADE’s impact.

Your Role as a Board Member
As a vital member of the board, you will:

• Collaborate on strategic fundraising initiatives.
• Build and nurture relationships with donors and partners.
• Actively participate in campaigns and fundraising events.
• Advocate for re:MADE’s mission within your community.
• Contribute to strategic planning and key decisions.
• Provide support and encouragement to store directors and volunteers.

Philanthropic Priority
Board Members are expected to consider re:MADE a top philanthropic priority by making a meaningful annual financial contribution. This ensures we can credibly seek support from foundations, organizations, and individuals, knowing that 100% of our board members are personally invested in our mission.

Our History

Anchorage re:MADE is a nonprofit, that opened in 2015, designed to  empower entrepreneurs while keeping things from the landfill.

Our process for people interested in being invited to be on the board is:  complete this application, if you have not volunteered, we would like to invite you to come, give you a tour and see how you could volunteer with us for a couple hours.  This will give us both an opportunity to get to know each other, who re:MADE is and what we do.  After this, if this is a good fit for you and for re:MADE, we will invite you to serve in a specific role, where your gifts can be utilized.
